Swanton Church of the Nazarene is pleased to announce that Stephen Howlett has accepted the call to serve as Lead Pastor, beginning January 11, 2026. The congregation warmly invites the Swanton community to join them in welcoming Pastor Howlett and his family.

Pastor Howlett brings more than a decade of pastoral and leadership experience, having served for twelve years in Indiana. Most recently, he served at The River Church in Marion, Indiana, as Administrative Pastor and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. In this role, he played a key part in shaping the church’s mission and vision, supporting ministry leaders, and strengthening the church’s overall health and effectiveness.

A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, Pastor Howlett earned his Bachelor of Christian Ministry in 2013. Pastor Howlett is passionate about helping people grow in their faith, developing clear pathways for spiritual growth and discipleship, and leading meaningful worship.

Stephen and his wife, Casey, have been married for fourteen years and are the proud parents of three children.

The community is warmly invited to attend Sunday morning worship at 10:45 a.m. and experience a welcoming church family focused on faith, hope, and service.
